Ever since Mike McCurry, I try to give Press Secretaries some leeway. That guy had to take so much heat for Clinton that I genuinely felt bad for him & almost everyone of them after. I would extend it to Psaki & KJP but they weren't just complicit in covering for Biden's obvious mental decline, pieces in the NYTimes, WashPost, WSJ, etc... have come out & stated the WH was aggressively censoring the truth.
Trump's smart having another female in the role. Frankly, that room should be contentious regardless who is in office. It's also interesting to watch the media have to defend their tactics.
