There is 10 minutes left in the 4th and Appalachian State has 21 points on 6 red zone possessions.
Think App. State maybe a tad bit overrated. Charlotte does not look that great as well. I know, I know we lost to Charlotte, Doc loses one game to a team he shouldn't every year.

I think we're good receiver-wise. 13 different players had receptions. Plus we now have a QB who can find them. Hope it continues.

This team is very capable making Appy State believers that we are one of the best teams in the Nation at home!
After watching us play EKU I feel pretty good about the Appy st game but then I start to let the fact we still have Doc as head coach creep in. I've seen us dominate a team like EKU before first game then come out and look like trash the next game. (I think we did this with Birdsong?)
App - was a great rivalry back in the day. We basically did what they did in I-AA, then they have done very well (like we did initially) in the move up to FBS. The youngest RS freshman on each team were diaper babies the last time we played. For the players, this can't feel like a rivalry game. A great opportunity to see where we are vs arguably the best success story in FBS since they joined the Belt......
Some talk out there of CBS picking up the MU vs App game for their 3:30 slot on Saturday. Perhaps Sam can illucidate (sp?) us on whether or not this is a realistic possibility?
