No it's not a bad sports town, but that's just my opinion. Plus using the number of Championships a team residing in your city wins is certainly a part of the defining equation. Sure I would have loved for The Braves to have won more then 1 World Series during their 14 successive Division titles run, but at least, more than not, when you went to a Braves game they usually won, for 14 straight years. I would also heavily factor in venue investment and attendance.

That is a questions only the Baseball Gods could answer... especially when the Braves racked up 6 Cy Young awards by 3 different pitchers between 91 - 98
