Sounds like the company is doing just fine in the wake of the Nike Armageddon. Rox is still doing his best to bring them down.

Rox is still doing his best to bring them down.

But Rox and the other morons on here all said they were doing to go under and this was a bad move.

Murox is a man of principle. He is only boycotting Nike based on principle. That principle is that Nike had the audacity to take a political stand. Forget that Nike has spent millions on lobbyists for decades on issues such as the environment, tax law, tariffs/trade deals, and civil rights (most recently, gay rights). They've crossed the line this time. Dammit, how dare they take a stand on civil rights (this time, centered on race).

The same idiots celebrating Nike stock rising today appear to be the same morons predicting the stock market would crash if Trump were elected 2 years ago.

No one said they were going under, you retard. I just said I wasn't buying any of their shoes, as I'm sure millions others will as well.

rifle and his D list celeb "clients" are responsible for the boost. 600 pics of his new diamond encrusted Air Force 1s and the receipt to prove he didn't buy them on sale forthcoming.

Nike is benefitting from a short-term spike in business thanks to the left and blacks opposing the backlash by conservatives. Only time will tell whether or not the ad campaign was successful. Get back to me in 6 months.

.

Remind us again why you aren't buying Nike anymore? Oh, yeah, that's right - it's because they took a political stance on an issue you claim to not care about, exactly as they have done with millions of dollars and tons of lobbyists for decades which didn't bother you until now. Brilliant!

rifle and his D list celeb "clients" are responsible for the boost.
.

Clients? If anything, I am clients to them. Didn't Banker or liarherdfan claim opposite of what you are? Allegedly, they just kiss my ass so I can help them according to one of those guys. You should huddle up with them and come back with a unified argument that doesn't contradict each other. And, yeah, all those "D list celebs" like Taylor Swift (she just asked me out two weeks from now, so I'll be sure to get pics with her), John Legend, Tony Bennett, Jay Z, Post Malone, Paul McCartney, Jerry Seinfeld, G-Eazy, Camila Cabello, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell, Stevie Wonder, Shakira, Ozzy Osbourne, J Cole, Rihanna, Nas . . . should I keep going?

Oh, I never made the claim that I don't buy things on sale. I'll wear a $2000 shirt, $15 shorts from Marshall's, $500 shoes, a $7.95 hat from Walmart, $7000 in diamonds and a $1500 backpack while boarding a sixty minute flight I saved $40 on by not picking my seat ahead of time. In my backpack, I'll have bags of chips and cookies that I took for free from the Priority Pass Lounge next to my $400 headphones and the free toothpaste I asked for at the hotel.

Now, are you going to explain how why you are boycotting Nike for taking a political stance on an issue you claim not to care about even though Nike has taken political stances with millions of their dollars and influence with lobbyist help for decades or will we have to wait until you first tell us again how police don't target blacks more than anyone?

You have way to much time on your hands. Time to get a job.

If that's what you think that paper said, you need to go back and re-read it.

No, I was right. Their conclusion was that blacks aren't shot at a higher rate than whites. It concluded that blacks had force used against them more.

I actually used this study in an argument against a group of blacks who were claiming that blacks were shot and killed by police far more often than whites. However, in looking into the study, I found many holes with how the research was done which was surprising considering who did it (I believe the tenured professor and some students under his supervision).

Ehhh. Having you run and pick up their sandwich takeout order or sweeping up the sound booth floor when the real artists are finished with their work isn’t exactly “kissing your ass”.

Most likely that’s why Rox wrote “clients” in the quotes. He was mocking you.

No, I was right.

How were you possibly right? You said:

is that the one from the black, tenured Harvard professor which claimed that blacks aren’t shot/beaten/have forced [sic] used against [them] more than whites?

When confronted with the fact that isn't what the paper says, you admit:

Their conclusion was that blacks aren't shot at a higher rate than whites. It concluded that blacks had force used against them more.

Which is accurate, but wholly inconsistent with your original statement. In what world is that "right"?

The part that blacks aren't shot more than whites was correct according to the study.

Oh, liarherdfan. You always struggle trying to tell the truth.

Your comments were made after hearing that Taylor Swift, one of the three biggest pop stars in the world, sent her private jet to pick me up just so we could meet to golf before driving a few hours away to her concert that night. Your comments were made after hearing another huge artist had their team reach out to ask what I preferred for dinner and snacks so that they would have it for me when arrived. Your comments were made after hearing yet another big artist had his security meet me in their golf carts in the parking lot to escort me to/from my car and the arena. Your comments were made after hearing how another Grammy winning artist asked me to fly from LA to NY with her on her PJ for her appearance on Good Morning America. Your comments were made after hearing that Lamar Odom stopped me when he ran into me at the pool to ask if I would be able to make his wedding to Chloe since I hadn't responded to the initial invite. Your comments were made after hearing how John Legend called his wife to bring their new baby out so I would meet her, how Ronald Isley tried getting me to take his sister-in-law out, how Andrea Bocelli's wife continues to ask when I am going to visit their Italian estate, how Ice Cube had my records blasting from his trailer while he was waiting for me to arrive, and how 90-something year old Tony Bennett knew my mother's name before ever meeting her because his son had prepped him to roll out the red carpet for me.

All that for a guy who picks up sandwiches. Then, just a few days ago, I received an email from one of China's biggest pop stars' team thanking me for taking time to talk to her during my half-day at NY Fashion Week a day earlier. Shocking that they come from China for the guy who cleans up the sound booth. I know that it doesn't measure up to lunching with the admissions assistant at ITT, but I'm just trying to keep up a little.

These threads where rifle name-drops everyone he's ever met to prove to a board full of strangers he's rich and famous are as comical as they are cringe-worthy (the part about the $7000 in diamonds was my personal favorite [think of all the track suits and Kangol caps you could have bought for disadvantaged youth with all that ice]). Going from an assistant football coach to having Taylor Swift pick you up in her private jet in less than 2 years is no small feat. Hell, it's True Hollywood Story material. So why not tell us what value you bring to these A-listers?

Thought this was pretty interesting....one of my buds forwarded this to me in an email. She's hitting all of Herdman's talking points....and making a very good argument.
