You are still trying to respond Rifle? The law doesn't really apply to me anyway because it's indiana. I don't really care what they do there. It's their state. The law is basically religion but should be expanded to include such other things like I posted.
The law isn't that complicated unless you haven't read it. The left is trying to create bigotry where there is none and it's due to assumptions, not a state, or a law, that's stuck in the 1800's.
If a bakery refuses to bake a birthday cake because the customer is gay, that's a bigoted act and the bakery cannot use freedom of religion as a basis for refusal. The bakery does has a right to refuse baking a cake for a same sex wedding if it goes against the owners religion. It's no more complicated than that.
No one can dictate how person practices their religion, how to live their life or what their beliefs should or shouldn't be. That's what makes America America. The left wants to change that and eventually it will bite them in the ass. When the Westboro Baptist Church enlists a gay owned bakery to bake a cake that says "God Hates F@ggots" that bakery won't have a choice but to serve that delicious pastry to a group of bigoted assholes. They think they're doing the right thing but in their nearsightedness don't realize that one day they'll have to eat a bullet fired from the very gun they created.
