I personally would love (don't know how this would work logistically) to see a G5 #2-#3 team matchup each year that has a tie-in with all the conferences.

Whoever doesn't get the Access slot, the two highest rated champions (hyptothetically) of the whatever g5 conference go head to head against each other.

How much better it is not to spew about a conference based on a random upset in October and use it as a basis to judge conferences. Wait out the season. In fact, look at it over the course of several seasons.
