Nobody to blame other than coaching and lack of execution

I will give you that the coaching was not great... But you cant miss 5 field goals and have 8 offensive line penalties. Our kickers were terrible and our offensive line was just as bad.
Perhaps Fever but the rest of the team stunk it up for all to see. Why is it every year we get ten games in a lead the conference in penalties? Mirabel needs to change positions. So we finish 9-3 (maybe) and get our MAC bowl.
The rest of the team??? I saw an offense and defense come up big at the end. This game solely on the kickers. You mean to tell me our kickers can't easily make chip shots??
We've had those offensive line penalties all year. That's coaching that it wasnt corrected. Not like this game was an anomaly, we were just playing someone where the penalties could actually hurt us.
I'm wondering the same thing, what game was you watching.

Sure it does. If Doc hadnt blown the timeout on that last drive when our team had just came from the sideline we could have centered the football with the last kick in regulation instead of having Smith attempting a more difficult kick from the left hash. Smith had already missed two at that point and then the coaching staff puts him in a situation where Smith is kicking from the left hash. That's not exactly an easy kick.
And with Smith struggling Doc hasnt recruited anyone else that can make field goals with a reasonable amount of accuracy?
Your right about the wasted Timeout, still doesn't excuse Smith from missing a cheap shot
9-3 or 11-1 and we likely go to the same bowl game.
Might want to make sure wvu can even get bowl eligible this year. We're a week into November & wvu still isn't bowl eligible. Heck of a team you gals have there.
