her perfume has been the #1 selling fragrance on Amazon for a few weeks now. there was a big debate over the review rating as it has 4.5 out of 5 stars, but when you read the reviews 50% are 1-star. Amazon responded that the initial rating on the product page only shows reviews of verified purchases. all the 1-star reviews are butt-hurt Libs.

By contrast, the U.S. trademark registration system and its laws/regs will result in denial of these types of applications for the name "Ivanka" without written authorization from the named individual. Also, there are right of publicity laws at the state level that prohibit the unauthorized exploitation of another's name/image/likeness [NIL].
Belk advertises itself as "Southern Modern Style." I guess they didn't get the memo showing that the South is solid Trump country. But in the real world the Belk family sold out last year to Sycamore Partners, a large New York City based private equity firm. So you know how "Southern" Belk is, anymore--it's South Manhattan.
