Even I ended up watching until the end, mainly because that botched executions show either ended or got pretty lame before the game was over.

frankly I don't give a shit whether the president parties during a super bowl anyway. I am actually surprised Trump even tried to have one. The NFL over the last few years has become pretty boring to watch. I probably paid "close" attention to the game for no more than 10 minutes.
I care enough about the NFL to hope we have players who make it & about three weeks in the post season. Other than that, the league seems to focus 30% on the game & 70% on things I don't want to think about for 3 hours. I watch sports for a brief escape - I really don't want to have to think about breast cancer, domestic violence, or BLM when all I want to see is a DB come off the corner & make a play that will help define their career.
