Ojeda v Carol Miller

The entire Miller family are fakes and grifters. But she's crazy as a loon, too, same as Ojeda....so this race will be entertaining.
Chris is a neighbor. Yes, he is a car dealer (and all that comes with that), but at home you couldn't meet a nicer guy or a more engaged father to his children. Don't confuse the TV persona with the man.

I am familiar with the entire family, and stand by my statement. That doesn't mean he is a poor father or mean to you.

How exactly are you familiar with the entire family? I guess that is what I was questioning.
I've lived beside the guy for the better part of a decade and fake isn't a term I'd use to describe him. My familiarity and knowledge of him is based on more than just a handful of encounters.
I won't speak to the character of the rest of the Miller's, as I have only had limited interaction with them - and I'm not into labeling folks that I truly don't know. I have an Aunt and Uncle that are batshit crazy, doesn't mean the entire family should wear the mantle.

Tell him his commercials are LAME.

I believe you answered a good deal of your own question with "all that comes with that".

I place a strong emphasis on how a man conducts himself professionally. Crooked business = crooked soul.

Never done business directly with Chris as I wouldn't purchase a Chevy, Hyundai, Kia or Jeep. Hundreds of people do every month, so his business model is working at some level.
Not saying this is what you are specifically referencing, but I've never really understood people's disdain for car dealers. Buying and/or trading cars is a voluntary transaction. If I don't feel like I'm getting what I think is a good deal, I walk. I don't take it personally.

Dealers can screw people financially a number of ways on a new car, and as you said you can always walk and just shop numbers; it's still a new, safe car with a warranty. But if you want to see the really dirty shit, you gotta go to the used lot. That's also where a dealer makes the most money. And it's also where you can lie, commit fraud, put people in shitboxes and death traps, really damn near anything you can think of as long as people don't know or understand automobiles or the business. I could bore you and waste my time with a long list of shady shit they've done with used cars if you really want me to.

You can buy a new Chevy from the risen corpse of the Ayatollah for all I care as long as he has the best price. It will still be a new Chevy. But I wouldn't recommend buying a used nickle for a penny from these folks...it will probably be a plug.

Just making sure I am following along. You are basically saying that the same can be said (fake/grifters) for the Moses family, the Wolfe family, the Cole family, the Raines family, or any other car dealer-owning family?
Is it the dealer's ownership that is responsible to ensure the consumer understands the business model? I've never purchased a used vehicle where I was told I couldn't take the vehicle to have a private inspection. Never told I couldn't run a carfax on the VIN. Never told I had to buy a warranty as a condition of the sale. I guess I subscribe to the thought of personal responsibility vs. blind faith that everyone on the planet is looking out for my best interest.
Don't get me wrong, I don't enjoy the purchase process any more than the next guy, but I don't go into it with high expectations. It's a game, some are winners and some are losers.

You really aren't. Think maybe I have some inside knowledge or experience in the game? And BTW, google the problems with trusting Carfax...it's a fascinating topic, especially the time delay of reports.

I'm sure they are great people to you. And Carol can SAVE YOU FROM SHARIAH LAW, and that has to be worth something.

Never said they are great people. Just said that in my personal experience with Chris (that appears to be more substantial than any direct interaction with him that you have shared) leads to my assessment that he isn't a fake. I have no personal opinion on Carol because I don't know her personally. I don't look for a politician to save me from anything, so political promises ring hollow.
Carfax is just one of many tools available to the consumer - many other options out there for those that choose to do their homework.

Jesus, you dodged how crazy running to save us all from Sharia law is.

Carfax is a tool for selling cars, not buying them. They make most of their money from subscription services.

I agree w you on the platform. It’s garbage to me. Pandering to headline readers and bible thumpers.

I know of several mid-to-large financial institutions that would disagree with the selling vs buying view. Don’t overlook that some of those subscriptions are purchased by the institutions that are financing the purchase. I’m not referencing indirect lenders - I’m talking about Joe customer that walks into his hometown bank wanting to get financed and is offered the product as a tool to help make an informed decision along w nada/Kelly pricing, etc.
It’s not perfect, but overall it is a decent tool to use when buying a car.

I would say sub 100, but over 80. You can't join the military with a sub 85 IQ. Feel free to go ahead and wire all your money and ship your remaining items of worth to me.

I have no clue who this guy is, but sub-80 is pretty low. We're talking Hank Johnson "will Guam tip over?" levels of low there.

Boys, we're talking WV politics here. Pander to the masses with the support of coal, Bible, less taxes, NASCAR and promise of a better WV will get my dog elected. Our state has a million plus fools who lap that shit up and have for 100 years. Then when the idiots get to Charleston they laugh all the way to the bank. It's governments version of WWF.
