The Oklahoma City Bombing was 23 years ago today. This event is one of those where I remember where I was at. I was at West Virginia University doing a presentation. When it was over the news was filtering in. That was the first time I remember in my life something like that happening. Then, there was the image of the small children and babies who were killed and injured.
Then, it came out two Army veterans were responsible. To me that was very hurtful as well. How could they do that to their own country and citizens? I remember reading an interview with McVeigh's father and he was totally hurt by his son's actions. I felt for him.
