I feel confident that the majority of the fan base has figured out DD. A HS coach with a gimmick game plan, that had a eight day hot streak.
Do you realize how ridiculous we look? We won ONE GAME in the NCAAs. So have 100s of other teams. Most of the schools we would consider “rivals’ or “peers” have many times that single number.
We simply are not good. Not good in an AWFUL basketball conference. Unprepared. Out maned. These players simply do not belong at this level.
It is time for DD to go.
BTW, notice the Doc hate late in this thread. Not only is this a basketball thread, but Doc isn’t even employed here anymore. But we all know that a lot of DD syncophants are Doc haters, and just use DD worship as another form of Doc hate.

Weird...when Huff lost against ECU, people gave up on him and the entire team/season...he even hinted at such (which means it got so bad HE actually decided to waste his time bringing it up) in pressers. People complained at his inability to close out games.

A guy who hasn't improved the team overall, they played a horrendously easy schedule (with little to no mention of schedules...when compared to someone else), his blundering of timeouts costing MU games, forcing a style of play that clearly isn't working for what we have, and inexcusable losses but somehow..."Oh, lets not give up on him...it's not fair!!!"
Bullsh*t, DD should absolutely be hit with as much criticism as possible.

Sad thing is, he probably already has said player but he can't develop them, at all.
Hell, we have an NBA level talent on that team. At the level/schedule MU plays, MU should be doing better asleep.
Well, at least Doc recruited Cato. He didn’t find out he was already on campus just going to classes and fell in his lap.

I'd have been fine with that...by comparison to the ropic at hand, still would be a better overall outcome.
Well, the story line should be, if you lose this game then don't let the door hit you in the AS*, because it needs to. DD losing this game means you are getting the Worse Coach of the Year award. And to think I really support this coach and now am so disappointed.
THAT is the main issue. People have figured out that DD is just some slogan spewing guy, and the players really don’t care and are basically playing pick up street ball.
It is very easy to just lose interest. Even on this board, there isn’t even a game thread most games. We all know what the result will be, and that DD will come out with some folksy BS afterwards.
Its over. Its time to get serious about basketball when we move to the SBC
