Thanks to John Kasich, we can expect to see much more of this happening in Ohio. This incident was horrifying as I'm frequently in this area on Hamilton Road. See, this is the thing that's frustrating when it comes to discussing anything based on statistics with someone who doesn't understand statistics. Over 54% of murders are committed by someone the victim had a relationship with. Over 24% are committed by family members. So the vast majority of murders involve a situation that you are aware of and have some modicum of control over. You don't want your neighbor to shoot you? Be nice to them and don't screw their wife.
Makes frequent trips to Cincinnati and Columbus, but sees them as good places to visit as long as you can go back to the woods to live.
I can see it. I go to Cincinnati and Columbus for ballgames, but I'm kind of glad I don't battle that kind of traffic everyday for work. Dayton traffic is nothing compared to the Big Cs. This isn't exactly the woods here, but I'm still of working age. If I ever want to retire, the woods will still be there. I'd probably croak in a week though, like the Bear. Without work, I don't see much of a point.
