Do Pennsylvanian’s have any say as to what to do if a senator is alive but not able to perform his or her duties? I know if he dies the governor can appoint someone else. But what to do if alive but can’t be a functioning senator?

It's insane to me that instead of Fetterman's wife staying by her brain-damaged, clinically depressed husband's side when he self-admitted, she went on an international vacation. She did seem to have a blast zip-lining though.
