The President is not going to like this since he is so into ratings....Chuck and Nancy ratings were higher than the Donald's....
The Hollywood Reporter said early viewing figures showed 45% of people actively watching television tuned in during the time period of the president’s speech (9:00 to 9:15 p.m. Eastern) to one of the networks airing it, including ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox (broadcast), Fox News (cable), NBC, and MSBNC.
However, that number rose to about 47% in the next 15-minute block, during which Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi presented a response. Those viewership numbers correspond to 28.1% and 29.3% of all people who watch television, respectively, or about 35 to 40 million people across the time periods.

POTUS has created a "crisis" with "The Base" to fulfill a campaign promise. Illegal immigration is at the lowest level in decades - a factoid lost in his BS. Now, I'm not opposed to more stringent border security - but lying to get it? I would rather be told the truth.
Tell me - when you're looking at all those memes with Nancy and Chuck - can you tell how many were produced by Americans and how many were produced by Russians? Does it cross your mind that Russia may have had a hand in some/most/all of them?
There are lots of Democrats laying in Arlington Cemetery and other military cemeteries around the globe. They were Americans who happened to be Democrats - but they were Americans first. They paid too high a price for us to tolerate a President conspiring with Russia to get elected President - then lying 18 f'n times a day to stay in office. You're smarter than to buy his BS.

What part of the wall is going to do anything about those 20 million illegals who are here? Not only is Mexico not going to pay for it - it's gone from being a "wall" to a "fence".
Trump could have negotiated/compromised and gotten a deal when repubs controlled both houses of congress....that compromise might have addressed the 20 million referenced above.... but Rush wouldn't tolerate any concessions to the Dems so nothing was done... the repubs lost the house... and now we have this dumbass situation.
BTW, this shutdown isn't the "Trump Shutdown".... it's the "Limbaugh Shutdown". What an ass to allow a daytime radio jock to make policy.

What does Hillary have to do with Trump working with F'n Russians. And it wasn't only memes and facebook posts - it also had something to do with hacking email accounts and releasing that info.

During the election I would see these things flying into my email and on social media and would think, "who has the time to do this crap? And why would they assemble things that are clearly lies?" I'm seeing the same thing now with the Chuck and Nancy stuff since the speech....my facebook page is rife with them. Not saying there all Russians...don't know. But how do we know?
No one knows what impact Russian collusion played.... but it was an extremely close election in key states. BUT, the fact Russians were pulling this crap isn't really the big thing....it's the fact they were working with a presidential candidate's campaign to coordinate the efforts. That cannot be tolerated - not for a nano-second.
Not that it makes a damned bit of difference, but I deeply disliked Hillary. She's a big reason we have this traitor in office.
Again, it's not "Russian Interference"....they're always going to be messing with us. But it's the fact we had a presidential campaign working with them. How effective their efforts were really isn't the point.

Those little crooked things at the end of a sentence; that's a question mark. They indicate the line preceding them was a ""question". You've elected to interpret them as "statements". And while I believe some/many were developed and distributed by "Russkies" - I made no statement to that effect.
However, "Russkies" were engaged in the election in this manner, and it's been reported they're still at it. That's a statement as well as a fact.

It's weird that you have proof of that when Mueller, a team of agents and prosecutors, multiple unrelated charges to use as leverage, a massive budget, and a year's-plus worth of work focused entirely on indicting one person have failed to establish the same. Maybe they should let you run the investigation. I mean, you obviously know more than anyone else since you've been able to conclusively establish this treason of which you speak.
With regard to your response to Sam, those ^^^ aren't questions. They're statements. But, whatever makes you feel better.
A wall is the first barrier to entry. That sends a physical and public relations message that you cannot just walk across our border. Same as when people have fences around property and no trespassing signs. You are not permitted to walk on here without permission and it is actually a physical barrier. We have walls and fences in certain areas for a reason. Society has always used walls in nearly every facet as a physical and mental barrier. They are used for protection of property, homes, institutions, military operations, and borders.
Democrats supported walls and fences in certain areas already for decades. This is an extension of that barrier. Why? Because we have a problem and this is the first line of defense. Border Patrol agents support this idea.
Democrats actually funded extensions of that barrier under the last two presidents.
The 20 million already here are a separate issue. If I have termites in my house I am obviously going to deal with those termites but, the same time I am going to work on prevention outside the home. The wall is no different.

The first job of the American President is to protect the people. He is the chief executive of law enforcement in the nation. It is his constitutional duty. His duty is not to Mexico or Honduras or the United Nations or liberal feelings. This is part of his job and it is something that should have been fixed years and years ago.
These morons actually think that I and others like me voted for Trump over Hillary because of Russians influence. I have waited my whole life to vote for a man like Trump and they think someone like me was influenced by the Russians. Beating Hillary was icing on the cake.

Actually, we know a lot....there was a meeting between the campaign and Russian agents - fact. There were conduits between the campaign and Russia who were in contact with each other - fact. And there's much circumstantial evidence strongly suggesting coordination of efforts between the Russians the Trump campaign.
We'll see what the future holds, but those facts and others, combined with the lies this man tells daily (seriously, can anyone believe a word coming out of his mouth at this point?) - certainly impact what I believe. For the life of me, I can't understand why any campaign would have so many of its officials in contact with Russia....with some lying about those meetings. Or why his campaign led a change in the party's position on Russian sanctions.

It's there..... Records of meetings with several members of the campaign...the recent information about Manafort's connection with Russian spys and those campaign members lying about meeting with Russians - not to mention the "circumstantial evidence" - what is it that you're waiting for?

Your assumption I'm a "Dem" is bad. I hated Hillary's emails as much as you, and believe Comey shouldn't have given her a pass. She should have been charged with mis-handling classified info at a minimum - like any two-striper would have been if they had sent classified info to their home email.
Where we differ is I refuse to defend Trump just because I dislike Hillary.
If it were "there," he would already be indicted and/or impeached. If he did conspire with Russia to influence the election, then - by all means - put his a$$ in prison. I've not seen anything to date that makes me think that actually occurred.
