With the NCAA Tournament around the corner would anyone on this forum gripe if
Health Officials would start vaccination of Student-Athletes at this point? I know
they are out of turn (politically speaking), being vaccinated would keep them from
bringing any viruses home from the conference tourneys or postseason tourneys.

Personally, I'm not sure why they aren't doing this. No, it's not a political statement
is an objective one.

I would be all for it.

Healthy young people need to wait their turn. Student athletes are not any more special..ludicrous to vaccinate a 20 year old that is Healthy over a 60 year diabetic..

I didn't say they were "Special". What I meant was if it curbs the spread as some studies say. It will help in keeping less desirable variants (like the B.1.1.7) in bigger cities from possibly invading rural areas.

We need to vaccinate the vulnerable. 20 somethings are not the most vulnerable.

Dude, I seldom agree with you. but in this case absolutely. No ifs and or but no 20 years old, let alone an athlete need to get a COVID vaccine ahead of just about anyone else. There are set classes for priority. Healthy 20 year old athlete needs to be in the last group.
