Levias can block and had a huge catch last night.
Gaines was brutal but he’s not a blocker. He plays because he’s dangerous as a receiver.

It also makes sense in some short yardage situations to go to a 2 back set and insert a big running back like Anderson into the game.
But as we have painfully learned over the last several seasons a lot of what Doc does makes NO sense!!
The bad thing is, we actually used Anderson correctly week one and praised the coaching staff for it... Since then, nada.
I'd say we used Anderson correctly Saturday evening too; critical first down that he got.
He has to be better than a "one play per game" back. But, agreed...he got the 1st down for us at a critical point in the game.
But, so far, he is not being targeted very often and hasn't done much to endear confidence in Cramsey or Green.
I think he's a little gun shy about drawing a crowd and getting involved in a collision.
