trump says just led health care system collapse. think of it, the president of the u.s.
thinks it is a good thing if the nations health care system collapses, it's just fine to let sick people die in the streets without care.
worse he and the republicans are doing everything in their power to make it collapse.
sad!

As an example, it said, for a typical 64-year-old with an annual income of $26,500, the net premium in 2026 for a midlevel silver plan, after subsidies, would average $6,500, compared with $1,700 under the Affordable Care Act. And the insurance would cover less of the consumer’s medical costs.

Likewise, the report said, for a 64-year-old with an annual income of $56,800, the premium in 2026 would average $20,500 a year, or three times the amount expected under the Affordable Care Act.

LOL, the die-ins.

They make me feel good about how I waste my time. At least it's not on anything as stupid as that. If I want to lay down, I'll just go to bed.

No sense in laying out beside a bunch of dropouts on the grass somewhere. Look how fat they are, too. Yeah, they're dying all right. Take 'em about 4 years to starve off all that lard.

Hey grandpa, younger adults like my sister cannot afford to even get a hernia operated on, because her deductible is basically the entire cost of the surgery. Unfortunately, she works as a contracted health care worker for a home health company that doesn't provide insurance, so obamacare is what she is stuck with. I have personally dealt with insurance premiums increasing from $350/month family plan to $700/month.

Sorry, the baby boomers cannot sit back and let the younger, disproportionate population foot the bill for your health care.

Where is my $2500 premium reduction Obama promised me? And what is the cost of those plans without subsidies?

1.if your sister worked for a company with more than 50 employees obama
care would have mandated her employer to cover her.
2. your sister had the option for lower deducible plans under obamacare,
sounds like she is a minimum wage worker there are many different
plans to choose from.
3. you pay for what you get. sounds like you had a cheap insurance plan
that did not pay for much.
4. i saw an analysis yesterday that said making an apple to apple comparison
between obamacare and trumpcare, trumpare premiums would be 74%
higher and the deductibles 9 times higher, but hey they have to get a big
tax cut for the richest billionaires in the country who do not need the money
nearly as much as people need to see a doctor.
5. with trumpcare your sister would be out of a job because they are all but
eliminating medicaid which no doubt funds most of her patients.
BUT HEY THE FOX PROPAGANDA NETWORK'S JOB IS TO KEEP YOU
IGNORANT ENOUGH TO ADVOCATE POLITICIANS AND POLICIES THAT
HURT YOU. MY SUGGESTION READ A REAL NEWSPAPER AND WATCH
THE REAL NEWS PROGRAMS.

Here's a novel idea. Why don't both the Republicans and Democrats stop fighting and bad mouthing one another, sit down together and work out shit that will actually be good for the country. Everyday folks are sick of all the stupidity that's taken place for at least the last 25 years, and it continues to get worse each passing day. These leaders are supposedly smarter than everybody else, but yet both sides act like a bunch of bloviating jackasses.

They aren't eliminating or cutting Medicare. They are slowing the rate of increase.

When people are cut off from obtaining it, it's a cut.
God forbid able bodied people with a job don't get medicaid. Although it doesn't matter because we are on the path to single payer because the republicans are morons and dems scream kill granny. Might as well pull the trigger now and be done wth it

So, you're admitting it's a cut.

The more people needing Medicaid.....the more "success" dems can claim.

With that said......as it currently stands, a true "single payer" system being implemented in this country has been pushed out a little farther than some expect for a whole host of reasons.

One of the major hold ups on any new healthcare legislation is the current test/trial of a "reformed" medicare (reimbursement) patient health management plan by CMS to a very select group of healthcare systems throughout the country. Another feeble social attempt to price control a huge sector of the US economy.

Its what I've explained many times, when the Govt says they are "lowering costs" of healthcare....ultimately it means Govt is lowering their reimbursement for services provided. Over the long haul this diminishes the types of services, procedures, and locations for accessing care; while also inflating the prices for those that actually pay for their care.

So, you're admitting it's a cut.
No it's not a cut. It's a reduction in the rate of increase. But once again it doesn't matter. The republicans are playing tiddlywinks winks and the dems are playing 3-d chess. They knew to put all the "good" stuff in Obamacare in place before the crap. They know once you give the masses some crumbs you. Any take it away. Single payer here we come.

She is an OT and makes probably more than you ever did, Grandpa. Her plan was the only one she could afford, considering all other expenses. They paid about $800/month and that was with a $9,000 deductible.

I'm sorry you're too closed-minded and ignorant to be able to accept the truth, but that's how life is for working younger adults and obamacare isn't the solution. It's a terrible plan that only benefited those who didn't want to work (your classic liberal freeloader) and old people, like you.

IN OTHER WORDS, GO KILL YOURSELF, NOW, DTARD.

SHE MAKES SO MUCH MONEY SHE COULD ONLY AFFORD A WORTHLESS
HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN THAT PAYS FOR NOTHING. YOU MUST BE
TO YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED TO KNOW HOW ILLOGICAL THAT IS.
BUT DON'T WORRY, TRUMP HAS PROMISED EVERYONE A GREAT HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN THAT WILL COVER EVERYTHING AND WILL
NOT COST ANYONE ANYTHING. MAYBE YOUR "RICH" SISTER CAN GET
ON THAT PLAN.

You are to ignorant to see that she probably made to much money to receive subsidies, so she had to foot the entire bill herself not rely on joe tax payer like our cabinet making successful businessman friend

6 months in hiding, what?

Why come back now or ever? There's no way to ever live down crying in a closet for 6 months.
