Herdman no matter what the libs, party of science, say there are inherent differences between the two sexes. If a lib would go to a playground and observe how the kids play with no input from adults they would see that boys are more into playing with sticks, rough housing, competing in games etc. Girls are more into playing house make believe etc. Are there exceptions, absolutely but its not the norm. Should boys learn how to cook or sew a button YES. Should girls learn about camping changing a flat tire YOU BET. That can be done within their respective scouting associations.

I am not arguing it is not acceptable, just that a.) I understand why some girls would prefer BSA, and b.) IDGAF. I don't think you will see many girls join anyway, and frankly if it gets a few more kids outdoors and not behind a screen I am more than OK with it.

I don't think the odd girl or two in the mix matters. I never had an activity growing up that didn't allow girls, there were some that played baseball, basketball, and soccer with us....but the girl who could hang with the boys was rare. We'd find a way to make most of them cry and run off to mommy. Like most boys, we were mean little shits.
