Sean Hannity

Yes, but then why would Hannity, a guy reportedly making $30 million/year, do the same? He clearly has the means to find and pay far better attorneys. If you claim cheeto only uses Cohen because he wants a "yes man" who won't question him, and possibly because no legit attorney wants to get involved wit him (which is absurd considering his wealth and power), then why would Hannity get involved with him?
Why does a guy who drives jags, has hot women, and is independently wealthy buy used cell phones of craig's list? Who are we to question the motive?

It was not his lawyer. You sure come on this forum and throw some less than factual zingers every now and again.
my apologies. I apparently misunderstood what was reported when Cohen's lawyer told the judge Hannity was one of three Cohen clients. Thanks for the heads up.

Hannity:

Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective.

I assumed those conversations were confidential, but to be absolutely clear they never involved any matter between me and a third-party.

Sean "Lumpy" Hannity. Now answer the question. Is he a client of Cohen, or not.
seriously, what in the blue blazes of hell does it matter if hannity or the devil himself is a client of cohen?

i'm really not following this lib "got ya" moment.

Either cohen's lawyer, or lumpy are lying. If cohen's lawyer is lying, then none of the conversations between the 2 are protected by attorney/client privilege, and since lumpy and cheetos have had many conversations, perhaps that opens all that up to questioning of lumpy. If lumpy is lying, then he's probably had cohen pay off a woman, or guy.

I think it's funny he is Cohen's client after going full retard on the air about the Cohen search warrant. I also think it's funny that a very prominent conservative that sold his soul to Trump to boost his ratings has been exposed as being a lot closer to Trump than anyone knew...and I am wondering if his soul had a dollar amount attached to it. If Cohen is involved, there's a good chance money exchanged hands one way or the other. And that brings up the enticing possibility that such a beacon of conservative morality had to pay off a woman...or a man (now that would be something).

TLDR : Hannity is a douche, so this is funny.

On the radio earlier in the day, Hannity said "I might have handed him ten bucks" and told Cohen "I definitely want attorney-client privilege on this" at times.

this is what people need to remember - just because this stuff is happening to someone who is a douche (i'm not a fan of Hannity) it is setting up a precedent for this type of prosecution in the future to someone you will likely side with.

Why do you continue trying to have a rational conversation with him? The guy is about 2 seconds away from digging in his depends and smearing shit all over himself kind of crazy.

I haven't followed this much, but is what I have below accurate?

Cohen has just three clients: one is cheeto, who he paid a porn star and/or Playmate hush money to stay quiet about being a mistress of cheeto's; another is the other republican guy who he paid another Playmate to keep quiet about regarding being a mistress and getting knocked up by the politician; and now the third is Hannity, who has vehemently defended Cohen but now has a wishy-washy story about him not being his attorney even though Cohen and his attorney say otherwise . . . and Hannity claims they just briefly talked about real estate.

I'm guessing Hannity's wife already has the moving trucks at the house.

AND YOU BELIEVE A MAN WHO MAKES $30M A YEAR AS A PROFESSIONAL LIEAR?
CMON HERDMAN - YOURE SMARTER THAN THAT.

Only if Johnson smokes his kush in the wrong state.
they're citing the starr/clinton investigation for what they think they can and can't get away with. if Bernie were to get the big job, you can 100% bet they will cite financial aspects of the wide-ranging russia investigation to investigate his actions as they relate to his wife's troubled dealings with the now-failed university.

I didn't vote for Bernie.

You'll figure it out in two or three weeks.

or you can just ignore the bigger picture.

I think you are ignoring the bigger picture: Nixon, Clinton, maybe Trump, the cover up is what gets politicians in trouble.

But sure, go ahead and buy the narrative that the entire DOJ and the federal courts are all out to get Trump, and Cohen is the first attorney ever to be searched.

you wasted your vote wherever it went

Not at all. With Trump polling up 20 in Indiana, I voted for Johnson. Why? To help strengthen a third party here in Indiana. Johnson received almost 5% of the vote here, not bad after getting the Libertarian Party certified in 2014 (Indiana's ballot access rule is weird, you have to get 2% in the Secretary of State's office, the Libertarian in 2014 got over 3%).

I've done the same in WV when it has been obvious AF who was winning the governor's race, voting for the Libertarian or Mountain Parties.

You may consider my vote for Johnson a wasted vote. You would be wrong, for many reasons. I don't think Trump could have lost IN even if Christ himself came down from heaven and said to vote for Hillary. That's the green light to vote other interests. I believe the GOP in Indiana needs a libertarian influence. The GOP here is involved in all sorts of BS I consider opposite of true classicaly liberal ideals, from legislating the promotion of religion to over-regulation of alcohol sales (the liquor store lobby is very powerful and controls the GOP). I could post damn near a book on this. A strong "big L" Libertarian presence can help push my state GOP more towards "little L" libertarianism.

Anyway, I feel sorry for you folks who feel you absolutely had to choose between a competent yet corrupt bitch and an incompetent and corrupt asshole. Twenty point spread, I didn't have to.

Not really sure if a relationship (client or not) with Cohen means Hannity is great buds with Trump. As for having to pay off someone to keep silent I couldn’t care less, even if it is a dude. If both parties agreed to terms it should be kept silent.

I wonder how much CNN’s Donna Brazil’s soul cost to leak debate questions Hillary?

Wonder how much it cost to leak Steele dossier to members of media to report?

How about how much it cost CNBC to reach out to John posesta to get questions that would compromise Jeb bush and Ted Cruze during debates?

Wonder how much Washington Posts Donna milbank got paid for simply allowing the DNC to write an anti trump article for her?

Doesn’t seem so astonishing that people in the media have connections to members of the Democratic party.

Indiana pretty damn red. I remember at one time Indianapolis was the most conservative large city in the nation.

You really think old fashioned crooked politics takes money? Twenty bucks was the rate for a slate in Lincoln County.

I think knowledge is power. Access to those in the know, and who share what they know, equals power.

Wealth is power. Always has been.

Don't assume the big media only loves Democrats. NYC is the center of the American media world, and I remember when Rudy was the toast of that town. And the media legitimized Trump. All I saw was Trump coverage. Sure, they think he's an asshole but the media has always loved showing Trump. Shit, he was interviewed on 9-11. I can think of at least a dozen other prominent New Yorkers I would rather have heard from. Especially Howard Stern. On a side note, go back and listen to Stern on 9-11...that is the realest thing that was broadcast that day, pure unfiltered what everyone was thinking, everyone but the idiots on network news.

You know our nation's response to 9-11 was pretty controlled. I remember what I was thinking that day.

Knowledge equals wealth. Look at how many Congress members have become extremely rich while making $174,000.00.

you could have stayed in your bedroom, rubbed one off and skipped voting and had the same impact.

Rifle is right, you are not very bright. I'll give you one direct example of a libertarian presence affecting state politics. Rand Paul, who wears that little L badge proudly, has a lot of stroke in KY, arguably more than McConnell these days. KY is now considering legalizing pot. Kentucky, whose government is controlled by the GOP, Bible-thumping Republicans at that, has Republicans wanting to legalize pot. You think that is a coincidence?
