This morning's outage was a direct result of the rivals engineers testing the system overnight. There was a shift change that resulted in the outage lasting longer than it should. Rivals has adjusted the engineers' schedule so that it won't happen again. They will be testing the heck out of the system this week and next in prep for NSD. You may notice some intermittent outages, especially overnight.
That being said, the big test will come Friday night. It will focus on site security. Rivals instructed us to inform our subscribers that at 10 PM PT / 1 AM ET tomorrow each and every subscriber - including publishers and staff - will be automatically logged out. All you have to do is log back in as you normally would.
If you would have any problems logging back in Fri night or over the weekend simply email subscriptions@rivals.com with the problem. Since the call center would be closed, this email address will be monitored by rivals staff continuously.
