I don't go there very often, so I'm not sure how long this location (or any others, for that matter) has had these self-service kiosk things, but they were definitely in place to replace all those smartasses who demanded $15/hr wages.

My question for you diehard libs is, will you be using them? I'm not talking about just the ones at McDonald's, because you can bet your bleeding hearts all the other fast chain joints will follow suit.

Think about it, every time you go in and eat that delicious Wendy's ® Baconator™, you will be helping to perpetuate capitalism and the evil, evil white man, who is holding your people down by not paying them double the minimum wage to do a non-skilled job.

Yes that is what those new corporate tax rates are going into, automation and share buybacks.

Wendy’s has had those for years. Are you in bum**** WV? Welcome to the 21st century.

I am a business owner and believe in a proactive wage that keeps employees happy and keeps retention high. Usually that is well above $15 an hour even for unskilled jobs.

@raleighherdfan says Tudor's Biscuits is getting them too.

Not everyone can be a rich tycoon like yourself and pay people $15/hr to tap buttons and count change. I guess fast food joints are afraid people will no longer want to buy their food when they up charge meals to $16 to cover the loss of profit by paying more labor costs? It figures such a successful, powerful business man like yourself would somehow not be able to grasp such a simpleton concept.

But then again, you're nothing but a slumlord realtor from what your alias Dherd has said about your made up persona.

So weird, according to this article, it wasn't until about 6 months ago that Wendy's reached 15% of it's US stores being equipped with these kiosks. You spoke as if they have been in Wendy's for years and were found everywhere. In fact, you suggested one had to live Out Wayne to not see one (I live in a suburb oustide of C-bus).

Where in that article are you getting what you stated?

Well then you’ll know the one in Dublin had them when it opened a couple years ago. I was there four years ago ago for the Michigan game and they had them then. Boy you really are a special kind of stupid.

I am surprised this was not done decades ago, Sheetz has been doing it since at least 1996.

I went to a McD's with one of these things.

Two observations:

1. Many people did not want to use it.
2. People who ordered from a cashier received their food slightly more quickly.

I don't think this is a good idea for "small town America", where people still value having a human being smile at them and serve them. Especially McDonald's. I can't speak for urban McD's, but out here in the burbs and sticks the two fast food places that seem to place a priority in service with a smile are McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A. Subway also does, but I tend to not think of them as real fast food. Burger King here, you might get told to go fvck yourself.

@Y.A.G Si Ye Nots The article states that they planned to have 1,000 Wendy's equipped with kiosks by the end of the year. The article was written 2017.

Wendy's has 6,500 locations in the US, therefore only 15% currently have kiosks available, and this would have been a recent benchmark, given the info stated in the article.

Not all of what I stated was found directly in this article. BTW, I forgot to use your quote when I first posted and apparently one cannot enter a quote in the edit option afterwards.

Keep telling yourself that as you're made to look like the dummy you are ITT.

So, to hell with actual facts. If the Dublin location had a kiosk then the rest of the US clearly had them, amirite?

Oh, hey could the fact that Dublin, OH is Wendy's flagship location have anything to do with it being equipped with all the latest and greatest, including the aforementioned kiosks?

Like I said Wendy’s have had them for years. Like I said you are a special kind of stupid. Just keep telling yourself you are right.

And sams club and Kroger has scan and go checkouts. I’m sure you will post on here in three years that sams and Kroger now has technology where you don’t have to go to a register. We will wait for you to catch up tard.

Hey I forgot to tell you they now have something called EZ pass where you drive right through the toll booths and you don’t have to stop to pay someone.

Stay on topic dummy. We're discussing how kiosks in Wendy's locations are so commonplace and they've had them "for years," based on the one location you used to frequent in Dublin, OH. I suppose the Dave Thomas statue they have at that location is very common at Wendy's across the US as well? Just stop already.

Additionally, my original post mentioned nothing about all the other convenience technology in other types of businesses. Those self-checkout registers truly have been around "for years," unlike these kiosks in fast food joints.

I’m not referring to self check outs at stores. Kroger and sams are even farther along then that, an app where you don’t even have to stop at a self scanning kiosk. Imagine that. In other news we have been to outer space and supposedly landed on the moon.

Are you for real or just another liarherdfan handle.

God, you wreak of the smell of desperation right now.

Kiosks are going to continue being installed in fast food joints as a means to curtail labor costs, namely if/when politicians like your hero Bernie manage to jack up minimum wage to $15/hr. They're not some old, commonplace piece of technology that's been around since Ray Kroc partnered with the McDonalds brothers, you ignorant fvck.

Good stuff trumptard. And in other news Henry Ford invented the assembly line.

How’s that “tie” poll going for you?

It was 7-7 when I posted it. Strangely, shortly before you posted in response to it, the results suddenly jumped to 13-7. But you are always completely honest and forthright on here, so I am sure you had nothing to do with that.

And are you really celebrating the fact that only 13 out of 20 people think Fever is more trustworthy than you? Do you see just how stupid you are?

Like I said. Bucky, marine, dherd, cuntry, and probably Greed are 5 of the 7. And there is no guarantee bucky and dherd aren’t the same person. Great “support” you have there. What a team.

None of them are so insecure about their lack of intelligence that they lie on here to hide their deficiencies. Too bad you can't say the same, liarherdfan.

After careful review of this thread, I have determined that black is smarter and more honest than buckeye. This round therefore goes to him.

Well let’s see. One was so insecure he left the board and hid for 6 months to avoid being mocked. Another is so insecure he blocks others posts because he got called out so frequently. Another cant participate in a thread without changing the subject to biscuits.
What a brave team you have there.

problem with small town america, at least WV, is the human beings in fast food joints smiling at you typically have no teeth, not necessarily from being inbred, but smoking meth.

Sadly, there are many towns where McDonald's is a good job. They tend to have the cream of the crop of local low-skill workers. WV's problem is in many towns anyone with an IQ above 100 long ago left.

don’t knock him, his standing here means a lot to his self worth

Just think: if you were smart enough to have done any of those things, the entire board wouldn't now know that you are a liar who is so insecure about your intelligence that you fabricate things on a message board to a bunch of strangers.

. . . or as Banker put it, you just "misrepresented" the truth.

Do your ITT daughters still think daddy is smart or are they already in fourth grade?

Raleigh is worried his job at Tudors will be replaced by a kiosk. Why do you guys have to make him worry like this.

Your feelings are about as accurate as your belief that a Tudors exists in Raleigh....or that DJT jr. was next.....or that Jared Kushner was next....or that...(this could go all afternoon).

Do you even live in Raleigh? I mean, considering your history of bogus information you try to pass off as truth, is there anything any of us can really trust that you say?

Who'd you eat with today? I heard Steve Jobs is buried with stuff, so he probably didn't have time to meet with you.
