Lying about what? When you hire a painting company, for example, the owner or company shows up and gives you and estimate. You hire them. Next thing you know the day they start they show up with the crew all hispanics. I call the company or owner and say are these guys all legal? They tell me the are.
I also hire some workers directly. I asked them if they are legal and they told me they are. They also have the papers and I met their kids who help them with some work. They speak fluent enlgish. the parents broken english. Great folks and I have no doubt they are legal. They get mad because they did it right and the illegals give them a bad name.
The other guy does yard work and tree work. Before I hired him he had to show me insurance, business license, and he is legal. He even witnessed to me about the Lord. Does mission work. Good guy. I trust him a lot. I usually just leave the money hidden out back and he does the work and takes it. But, before we hired him and had to show me the licenses and paper work.

My comment is not in complaint over Trump's use of the act (although I have some complaints). I just have a feeling this is going to turn out way different than either party is expecting, given the makeup of SCOTUS and the nature of this particular law. I think SCOTUS is going to reign it in.
Serious question as all get out. We can't even fight wars now without it being a legal battle. Can we shoot the enemy today or can we not? Do they have to shoot at us first? Ask the lawyers. Oh wait someone might take it to the 9th circuit.
