Solved the deer problem

I have tried everything to keep deer from eating my landscaping. Yesterday, I found a 4’ long rock in the woods. Kind of a miniature obelisk. I planted it where a beautiful euonymus used to be. Deer don’t eat rocks.

From now on, it is only inanimate yard plantings for me. I’m on the lookout for a bumper from a 1954 Hudson Hornet.

I have actually considered approaching the town council about allowing an urban deer hunt. The problem is out of control. I estimated my losses this spring at over $3,000.
