This is embarrassing offense so far, that 4th and goal play was maybe the worst play design I’ve ever seen.
Please somebody tell me whats wrong with this picture. What, five trips inside the redzone...17pts! Playing worst team in conference with zero IC wins and only one OC win...yet only up 14 pts! What happened to us being one of the best travelling fan bases? DEFENSE looking good, several TFL's and players staying in their lanes. Think we're doing ok penalty wise too, right? Have not seen stat, but only recall that one.
We receive second half kickoff, I predict that possession paves the way the second half will go. Feel Good guys will win regardless, but will I need to keep my heart medicine close at hand?
Turner is the missing link.
He's above and beyond our best skill guy.
Gotta think a healthy turner and its 21-0 early.
Oh well, feel we are owed a few calls. Certainly think we dodged a turn over there.
Jesus. We’ve scored 34 in 3 qtrs and if I wasn’t watching the game I would have thought we were down by 31. Some of you guys are fvcked in the head.
Tbf 15 comments over 3 quarters of football probably not a great representation of the overall feel for things.
“Fair” would be demonstrate the ability to comprehend we’ve completely dominated this game and appreciate it for what it is. A beat down.
Thanks, I appreciate your opinion and I agree, we certainly did improve! However, this was not the greatest start we've had and I think most of the negative posts referred to our early performance! MU offense started this game going 1 for 3 and 2 for 5 in the red zone...AGAINST A TEAM THAT IS NOW 1-8(0-5)! If we are going to PLAY FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS again, we've got to do better than that! If having expectations of something better is being "fvcked in the head", then I pled guilty as charged! Defense played lights out today, offense got it going and we played several players to help them gain some experience. In conclusion, good effort playing against a team that we had to know were coming in with "nothing to lose" mentality (literally, the worst kind of opponent). I'm proud of the way we performed overall, hope we can get off to a better start down the stretch! GO HERD!

Not one to live in the past, but must say, that game against GA Southern still haunts me! Maybe even worse than wvu in 2010! At least that loss to wvu did not potentially determine our possibility of playing for a conference championship!
Perkins is right about some of yall, although I disagree with him on some of his opinions, particularly calling out fans who don't attend games.
Looking at this thread, some of yall expect the quarterback to be perfect on every throw, some of yall expect a touchdown on every drive, some of yall expect the defense to hold the opponent to a three and out on every drive.
Truth is, Marshall will never win a championship at this level, but it doesn't mean they can't compete on their level. Perhaps the coach isn't the greatest, but I'm certain he's giving his all, as are the players.
At some point in the not so near future, Marshall will likely be competing for championships again, albeit on a level below the high dollar squads.
In closing, my friend Perkins is still an A-Hole, but he's doing so with best intentions, and you have to admire his commitment to the program, as well as all the additional time he personally puts into the program.

Amazing, unexpected, fact - through 5 conference games Marshall is the #1 scoring offense in the league. We are also #1 is point differential in the east at +68. Ga So is 4-1 with only a +8 differential.
