No I enjoyed gamebred’s rant; it was peak Masvidal. I like big personalities in the UFC.

Following lib logic, if the best male UFC fighter decided to become a female, he or it should be allowed to compete against females. Beat the hell out of them but that would be ok according to liberals.

Izzy is a bad dude, but I think the weight cut caught up to Poatan. He’s going to be a beast at LHW, I’d like to see how he fares against good wrestlers though.
That’s the thing, they carefully fed him strikers to get to the fight they wanted to make with Izzy. I think the minute he gets into the cage with a wrestler he’s cooked. Like, in 2 years we’ll be saying “remember that guy?” and nobody will. When/if he moves to LHW the UFC has no reason to protect him and he’s going to get fed to the wolves.
Agreed! Izzy took him down for goodness sakes. His KO power is crazy though. LHW is also kinda week at the moment. I could almost see him walking into a title shot coming off a loss to set up another super-fight with Izzy at LHW.

Funny thing is Paotan would probably beat the LHW champ. But probably not half of the top 10. I could see them actually giving him the immediate shot if Hill will wait for Paotan to be cleared.
I think Izzy is really done with him. This dude had his number and he’s now got his belt back. I’ll be shocked if he ever agrees to fight him again.
Izzy has an ego too though. He’s beat him now, and has already challenged for the LHW belt. If Poatan gets it, Izzy will be the first man up.
Izzy walked into that LHW fight weighing probably 20 lbs less than the other guy (he was 5 lbs under the limit at weigh ins so likely cut nothing, and they pack back on a lot of water weight after a cut), and it would be the same story with Poatan. I don’t think Izzy wants any of that.
But I also think it’s moot. I think Izzy knows that Poatan is going to get matched up against a wrestler at some point and disappear.
