Strictest Gun Laws in The Nation-Obama's Hometown

Actually his Hometown is Honolulu. Chicago is Michelle's hometown but I guess if you live somewhere for 20 years of your life, that's your second home.

Either way, Chicago has always been a violent city long before Obama even thought about being the President. Sometimes things don't change over time

Plus 4th of July has always been one of the most violent holidays around the country

Well it happened either way. Liberal policies in regard to gun control just don't work.

Plus the thugs shooting each other wil still happen.

Look at any Major city with high crime and you will see a trend. 4th of July and New Year's Eve just aren't safe holidays

Well, it appears the majority of gun violence in this country is in cities with strict gun control measures.

Actually No, most of the violent cities in America are in states with little gun control laws. Miami, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis, New Orleans, Birmingham, Phoenix, St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Baltimore are all in states(most in the south) where its real easy to get a gun. I mean look at Huntington and Charleston 2 of the most violent Small cities in America

Check again with me. Might want to look at cities in California, Chicago, DC, and Detroit. Most of the violent gun crime occurs in big cities.

Now besides laws, what is the other common denominator in regard to who is doing this?

Nobody wants to go there. Hint, the black man is killing the black man.

Plus strict gun laws aren't going to do a thing about illegal gun sales and guns that has been on the streets for decades that get passed around

I mentioned cities that are in states with less Gun laws obviously

And yes there is a huge problem with Black on Black crime obviously, still doesn't change the fact I can drive to Kentucky, Tennessee, or Arkansas and buy 10 AR-15s then drive them back to NY and sell them on the street at $2000 a pop.

Well, that is already illegal. That is in violation of several different laws.

No shit, but do you think someone who does illegal shit for a living cares about that? I mean I was able to buy a .45 caliber handgun off somebody when I lived in Huntington. I don't have a permit or anything but my apartment got broken into by a crackhead and I was making sure not to let it happen again. I sold the gun before I moved back to NY

Buying a handgun from Someone isnt illegal.

Well considering Memphis, Louisville, and Little Rock is some violent cities with high gun crime, maybe they should make it there problem

Those cities are also highly rated in poor, black neighborhoods. High unemployment with dealing dope and shooting one another. Again, guns don't kill. People that pull the trigger kill. Solve the inner city issues of single parent families, poor education systems, and vasts amounts of dope, and you will see crime go down.

Yea well if we had Governors and Mayors who gave a shit, those issues would be erased. And last time I checked, Heroin and Cocaine isn't grown in the inner cities, so who is bringing it in and how does so much make it inside the country. Even on Long Island there is a heroin epidemic. MichiganHerd those issues are issues that are deeper than how you make it seem

If we wanted to stop the drug trade we could stop it.

Exactly but the drug trade brings big money to both sides of the Law, hence why weed is still illegal even though its less harmful compared to Alcohol, Tobacco, and Prescription Pills

Its illegal in NY and carries a 3 year mandatory sentence in the State Prison system

You bought it in WV. However, if you were a resident of New York while buying it in WV you have violated federal law and perhaps WV law. For handgun purchases you must purchase in the state of which you are a resident and follow all applicable laws. Long guns are ok to purchase. They must be purchased through a licensed FFL(in the case of a handgun in your state, long gun can be in the sate of purhcase through a FFL)

The northeast states are insane with their gun laws. It is a power trip by the officials.

Sure power trip but violence has drastically gone down in NYC, even though violence has gone up in NJ and Connecticut
