i'd be super pissed if they broke my door open . . . when all they'd have to do is turn the knob. they ain't mistaking my address; if they're rolling in, i done fukt something up.
reminds me an event that occurred a few years ago. there were some druggies in one of the inlaw's rentals. they hadn't been there but a 3 or 4 months and the traffic all hours of the day was crazy.
i called one of my trooper buddies and asked him how to get rid of some druggie renters. he says, "the ones in the rental below your house?"
"yep, that's the one."
"you're required to give them 30 days written notice by law, but you could likely give them 48 hours to get the hell out or let them know the cops will be back, and they'd likely be gone. we were in there the other night about 2 a.m., had the entire valley lit up in blue lights, had 14 or 15 troopers that stormed the property. surprised we didn't wake you up. we covered every inch of the property. check the front door out on your way home this evening, it needs a new one."
"did you make any arrests?"
"they don't want us back, i'll just put it like that."
i typed up the eviction notice and it was delivered. they were out within 48 hours.
