This was posted earlier, but you obviously did not read it completely. According to Pulitzer prize winning Politifact, this was a false statement by the President!
The money was frozen Iranian assets that were part of coalition sanctions for Iran's nuclear program. The assets were unfrozen in recognition of verifying, through international inspections, that Iran was reducing it's nuclear stock pile. The 6 country coalition agreed to unfreeze these assets based on Iran's cooperation with the agreement. Their are other sanctions still in place for human rights violations, support for terrorism and missile technology. The amount actually unfrozen resulted in approximately 56 billion being returned.

Sometimes you have to give to get. That's how diplomacy works.

There are two reasonable choices: find a way to deal with and monitor Iran, or just nuke them. You are not taking out hardened facilities with conventional weapons.

I have posted on 2 occasions that the Coalition of 6 countries involved with the Iran Nuclear deal agreed to unfreeze Iranian assets because they cooperated in reducing nuclear arms. The sanctions for their support of terrorism, human rights violations and missile development were not reduced. Only their own assets were returned in response to their cooperation. This was not just O'bama. It was agreed upon by all countries involved in the agreement. Of course I don't think it matters to you. To hell with facts.
