"Largest voter fraud probe in state history"

In Tarrant County, Texas, a voter fraud investigation is currently underway that pertains to mail in ballots.

According to the Texas Scorecard, the investigation is the result of a complaint filed by Aaron Harris of Direct Action Texas. Harris claims that the current investigation is in response to a “vote-harvesting” scheme that is alleged to involve 20,000 mail-in ballots.

Bwahaha!

3 questions:

Ain't it great that there is a HUGE investigation?

What, precisely, have they uncovered? Suspicion?

I bet that voter ID requirement would take care of those mail in ballots.

"However, local officials told the Star-Telegram that the investigation depends on ONE person who stood as a witness for FIVE mail-in applications from the same nursing home or retirement center."

"each Texan is allowed by law to act as a witness for another person — physically assisting with the mail-in application or ballot — just once unless their assistance is for more than one immediate family member."

"Of the around 20,000 applications for mail-in ballots for primary elections in Tarrant County, 131 included witnesses, the Star-Telegram reported. Only one of those involved one person who acted as a witness for more than one person who were not family members. That person helped five people at the same address, which, the Star-Telegram reported, is a home or center for elderly persons."

^^^^^There's your conspiracy theory all wrapped up with a bow on it.
Bwahahaha!!

from that same article...

Local officials say workers with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office have been in the reliably red Tarrant County gathering paperwork and interviewing potential witnesses.

The attorney general’s office declined to “confirm or deny investigations” or comment on the situation. When asked for the complaints that started the local investigation, attorney general’s workers declined to release them, expressing concern that doing so might hamper a criminal investigation.

you are assuming this is only about the 131 mail in's.....

rumor floating around is that it is about illegals voting via mail-in.

Lol.

And as an advocate for the disabled, let me say that is a dumb law. I can understand why it exists, but a lot of these folks have family that doesn't give a shit and doesn't visit to help them. Their staff is burdened enough. And they are way too proud of voting to not vote.

Why shouldn't a person be able to help one single person by assisting and witnessing their ballot? In some cases it's either that or they don't get to vote.

Probably pure coincidence that "thousands" of people had their names and DOBs changed...

And for Greed, this was discovered because the actual people that this happened to called it in. Not an undercover sting, or hidden camera, or other conspiracy chasers....

Some of you are so f'g naive you deserve Hillary's America...

Lol. I can assure you the IN Sec of States office couldn't handle a thousand phone calls in a month...you can't get through to any state office without calling for a week straight.

We'll see who is naive when this plays out.

Nope. This is what happens when people elect a non-college educated tea Bagger political hack to high office.

Even her fellow Republicans think she is full of shit.

He said it was too early to call it fraud. Didn't say it was or wasn't...

That article you linked also says last week they discovered vulnerabilities in the registration system that would allow unauthorized changes to be made

Nothing to see here.... Just like the 20,000 mail in ballots from illegals in Texas...

There's no vulnerability because you still have to show that ID.

Don't be fooled by Trump supporters and Bagger hacks telling lies. These are the same people around here that thinks you can catch The Gay.

it's a vulnerability if I hack it and change the names and DOB's of 50,000 registered Republicans (or Dems for that matter) without their knowledge and then they are turned away on election day because their info does not match...

Dont forget, raoul doesnt believe in voter fraud. Its just another myth/conspiracy made up by "the man."

That's the thing, they won't be turned away. They would be issued a provisional ballot and it would be 99% likely be counted, unless they did something dumb like vote in the wrong county. It's a simple compare their previous correct address with the one on their ID. You really need to read election laws, and maybe have some experience, before you make statements like that...you will look smarter.

We should go to a finger print scan for voting with every scan filtered through the FBI database and police present at every polling place. It would ensure everyone could only vote once, we're who they claimed to be, and we would get to pick up a bunch of people with outstanding warrants if they were dumb enough to try and vote. Also, if you wanted to vote, you would have to make sure to get finger printed and get in the database.

The tossing of provisional ballots is how Hitlary won the California primary. Good practice for the general election.

After getting polled this evening, I believe the numbers must be even more grim for Trump. Surely Democrats wouldn't have wasted 5 minutes listening to a robot that wouldn't even let you make your choice until it finished all the choices, even if yours was the first one.

Next time I'm hanging up. I just took the thing out of pity.

I have no doubt there is voter fraud. Plus, the media is basically a wing of the Democrat and Liberal establishment. Anybody that grew up in WV knows there is voter fraud.

Studies of the use of provisional ballots in the 2006 general election in the United States show that around 21% of provisional ballots were rejected, where the majority of rejected ballots were cast by registered voters and the majority of rejections were for reasons that were preventable.[6]

That's wonderful and all, but I know the local rules of Indiana and what happens here. Last election (off year, county offices, highly contested races) the county over had a recount for one race; IIRC final tallies showed three provisionials thrown out at first count and one more in recount.

Poll clerks in IN cannot challenge based on address alone, only a party representative can.

You know they went out gave away money and cigs to the inner hood when Obama was running. Same way Byrd and JFK passed out cash in WV back in the day.

I suppose you believe that if there are more voters on the rolls than there should be that someone is certainly voting illegally.

everyone knows these counties in question have done this over the years so pleeeeeease quit trying to act like it isn't being done. The point is this is more rampant than many would admit to.The democrats are the worst cheaters with election fraud the world has ever seen

No, you just can't let a conspiracy theory go by. I can't wait for the right wing nut job excuses of voter fraud should Hillary win. Just think how much voter fraud would be required to flip the Senate....that should keep your mental circuits overheated.

Nothing to see here... Move along... Move along... Just another democrat organization physically changing paper registrations...funny how they immediately took out media ads blaming the investigation on Pence...

But then here's the Secretary of State backtracking and saying there is NO widespread votrr fraud and it is likely people changing their own info....and this is from Fox fvcking News so you can't say it is a "liberal" report:
