That is definitely correct this year. Daniels first year was similar to Danny D's though.

Tied for third in the league behind WKU & MTSU.
They play fast and absolutely chuck up the 3's.
They're a very fun team to watch.

Got to go last night...430+ in the stands.

They need to bring back jam the cam in some form or another. Especially if they are winning and playing local talent on top of it. Dang it'd be so great to make the big dance.

GreenPee, you are correct. The 430 that were there were engaged & noisy. Place got a bit loud when Johnson & Akers hit those 3's down the stretch. Was a REALLY good game.
It'd be nice to triple that attendance on a regular basis.

Matt Daniel is doing a good job. They got royally screwed at home against La Tech today on a horrific call with 1 second left in a tie game gave LT two FT's with 0.8 seconds left.

You, sir are correct...my brain knew that...my fingers did not.

Didn't get to go to yesterday's game. Daughter was playing in Huntington Invitational and two other kids had Upward games.
Was looking at the schedule though....next home game is a Thursday 02/19 at 11:00 AM???

The women's team also have couple of very talented transfers coming in next year along with the #52 recruiting class in the country so the future bright.

I have seen nearly every women's home game and all of the men's home games. Surely you are kidding??? I love our women's team and they play good women's basketball. As far as playing the men, sorry, they couldn't beat a single men's team in the old WVIAC now MEC.
