The Carolina Mudcats minor league team has cancelled the appearance of John Rocker.

As a baseball ambassador from the Atlanta Braves, Mr. Rocker was scheduled to appear Thursday night at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C. However, after careful consideration, the Carolina Mudcats have decided to cancel Thursday’s scheduled appearance. The remaining promotional events scheduled for upcoming home stand will remain as planned. We look forward to seeing you at the next Mudcats home game.

A few weeks ago, I went out with rocker's ex (she was a survivor castoff).

I was also at rocker's first game back in New York. I was truly scared for his life at the game. I had never seen such scorn and hate for a person b so many people. I was in left field seats near the bullpen. The two guys in front of me were undercover police. They ended up telling us that besides the normal police presence, the stadium had more than 300 extra police officers, half of which were undercover throughout the crowd due to worries of a shooter.
