has to be the most opponent friendly 2 game set any CUSA team could want. Fly in to Miami, play FIU. Hop a quick bus ride to Boca, play FAU, fly home.
You are already downplaying even the possibility of a win. Wow. You have set yourself up to only ever be happy with MU b-ball if it fails. And you are okay with that? Successful games, seasons, etc will only be met more negativity and an ever moving target. To me, your inability to enjoy success and your efforts to discredit it make your opinions worthless. Very much partisan. You left out, play at FIU before about 400 people and then at FAU (in an arena named for some ambulance chasing law firm website) before maybe 700, the epitome and example of the ZERO basketball commitment and interest non-entities the bottom third of this horrid basketball league contains.
Then pick up a win, or two, and spew about “turning a corner” and “finally listening” and such.
not asking you to comment unless you want to. many of us are trying to figure out why JW is not playing more.I am baffled the talent is thereAs much as I hate to say it, we will lose both games.

I have commented on the other site and got bashed over there for being a biased, whining parent. I'll open pandora's box when the time is right.

HerdinAtl - Have noticed your absence. Hope you are doing OK. This is definitely not the place for support! More like the hyenas, always circling, figuring out when to close in for the kill. Then Scar (aka Sam) uses that syrupy evil voice to lure his victim into the death trap. MU basketball has seen worse times than this - much worse. Hope JW can weather the storm. Go Herd!!!

Ah yes, the political excuse. It couldn't be because JW is shooting 23% from 3, which is about all he brings to the offensive side of the ball. One would think with a shooting percentage like that, a player may want to stay after practice and work on his game rather than going straight home....
There is no good ending to this.
When a parent’s child is performing well, I’m sure it’s fun for the parent to be active on message boards. The parent is praised not only for their son’s athletic performance but also for how great of a job they supposedly did raising their son who is always respectful, polite, and hard-working according to the fans who show praise during athletic success of the son.
Then, when their son gets dumped by a girlfriend so she can turn gay, everything goes to hell. There is no longer a release for the son’s build up of testosterone, so he is overly aggressive, and his shot becomes too long and ends up in bricking everything. To overcome the poor shooting, the son overcompensates by being too soft on his shot, which compounds the shooting issue. That results in less playing time. When you’re riding the bench, it’s a lot harder to get laid, so there is less opportunity to release the aggression from the built up testosterone. It’s a very vicious cycle that is hard to get out of . . . unless, of course, you can win back the bisexual volleyball player.
Suddenly, and not coincidentally, the drop in the son's athletic performance turns the fans against the son. Instead of "respectful, polite, and hard-working," he now becomes selfish, not a team player, doesn't work hard enough ("doesn't stay after practice and goes straight home"), and sulks on the end of the bench according to those same fans.
At the same time, the parent who is missing the previous praise is now forced to defend his son. It can never be the son's fault. It is always bad chemistry on the team from coaches doing a bad job of vetting recruits, the coaches having lost the faith of the team, poor coaching, a bias towards the son from the coach, or something related.
The parent's posts on here are read by a GA and/or an assistant coach, it is discussed in front of the head coach in a coaches meeting, and then coaches start to have animosity against the son thinking he is telling his parents bad information about the coaches and placing blame on the coaches.
In other words, unless your son performs like Tim Tebow every game, it's a bad idea for a parent to be on here if they can't handle fan criticism. But Tebow was a different story, because he used to perform circumcisions on babies in third-world countries during his missions, so god granted him success in all areas of life - hell, the guy couldn't throw the ball yet still won an NFL playoff game as a starting QB.
So unless you can get the bisexual volleyball player back to "socialize" with your son, it's probably not a good idea to be on here.
Rifle, I don't often agree with you (like, never) but I believe you have hit paydirt on this one. You should be a contractor because you hit the nail on the head with this one. There is no good ending to this.

I am definitely curious as to what is going on. But in all fairness, the only thing I ever saw on the other page from you was very vague. I realize that it is not a good idea to give specifics that could only hurt the team and Jannson, but to hear a parent just reference “politics“ sounds youth league-ish and most people are numb to that. Just saying that in situations like this, if you can’t say everything, it is probably best to say nothing to be fair to everyone involved.Time will tell I guess.Thanks. I'll just put it like this.."A person with integrity expects to be believed. When he is not, he lets time prove him right".

That was pretty funny. He is driving an upgraded model now.
How does it feel to be right for the first time in your life?
The board needs pictures to compare.
I suggest talking him into an Asian girl. They bring you a towel and clean you up, rub your feet after, give full bossy massages, and make side you’re at your best.
It may be what his body needs for recovery purposes. He will risk getting the Coronavirus, but Asians are the best slump busters.
I give you quite the compliment and you come back with smack? I stand by my previous statements... You really are full of yourself. How does it feel to be right for the first time in your life?

She is similar (Tall, leggy, blonde) .
I'm not posting pics.
She is a Division I, collegiate athlete
big plus to Jannson and the rest of the family is that she is on the same side of the political spectrum as all of us.

let's just add that he has to miss a lot of practice time now because of his class schedule. This was the only semester and time slots they were offered. He is taking 6 CLASSES right now.
One of which is a stupid mandatory yoga class that DD made all of the team take.
As much as I hate to say it, we will lose both games.

And while your full of reasons why his game is suffering so bad right now, let's just add that he has to miss a lot of practice time now because of his class schedule.
Or is J so irrelevant to the team it just don't matter! In which, the coaching staff is a MF'er for at least not letting the kid (Parents) know where he stands.
I too just received my envelope. Ironically, #2 used to be my football jersey number, so she has that going for her.A dark colored, late model SUV just dropped off an envelope of pictures of her to me, so no need to post pics.

comparing the season stat lines, they're eerily similar. #2 is averaging 6 pts and 5 boards per game, and Jannson is averaging 6 pts and 4 boards per game. She is shooting 75% from the stripe. Jannson is only shooting 44% from the free-throw line, so hopefully she is a good teacher.
