Anyone making plans to see it in the direct path? I'm thinking of driving to Nashville area to catch it. There will be around 2:30 minutes of darkness. It'll be kind of cool seeing the stars come out in the middle of the day. Here's the path for a view of the total eclipse...

Any other year I'd be in Myrtle Beach this week, but my wife has a conference .

I'd love to take my boy to go see it. He'll be about to turn three so I'm not sure how much he could appreciate that. Between that and taking a day off work I'm trying to decide if it makes sense.
 
I don't have to go anywhere. I live in Greenville sc. now I just have to find some welders glass
