was the lost season of 2016. Akron player came untouched and crunched Litton, scoop and score. Chase never recovered his confidence, and MU went on to that stellar 3-9 record. Leaving today’s game feels....exactly....the....same. This team doesn’t give a shit.

We are looking at another Kayo Marcum and Snyder situation. It's going to have to get bad for multiple years in a row before anything happens.

Unfortunately, Doc's success has been much easier to achieve than Snyder had it against tougher competition. Today's CUSA is a sleepwalk compared to before the last conference shake up. Doc's overall record and his bowl record are the only metrics Hamrick is going to use, and Doc does just enough to keep his job.

Win 7 or 8 games against the bottom teams of Div I (throw in one win against I-AA) then put all you got into a bowl game at the end of the season. Rinse and repeat. Every. Single. Year.

the team will win 8 or 9 games this year....several things I see...the jury is still out on Green if he is a championship QB.....Doc can only beat teams with less talent(unless he has a month to put a game plan in place like a bowl)......and Bill Legg was not the problem.....Doc is a good coach but not a great one.

Doc can’t always beat teams with less talent either, he only beats teams with shittier coaches.
