Anyone seen this movie yet? I’m thinking about checking it out. I’m hoping I enjoy it as much as I did Gran Torino. Eastwood will turn 89 in a few months so I’m not sure how many more movies he has in him.

There are very few Eastwood movies I don’t like. One of my favorite lines from The Outlaw Josey Wales...Dyin’ain’t much of a living, boy...

Saw it a few days ago. I don't think you'll like it anywhere near as much as Gran Torino. It started off good and then dragged on a little with the same thing happening repeatedly. It was a pretty good movie but nothing you'll rave about.

I didn't realize the number of stars who were in it. Besides Eastwood, Bradley Cooper, Andy Garcia, Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Pena have roles. Eastwood's daughter also has a big role.

I also didn't realize that it was based on a true movie. Eastwood's last roles have all played the same type of character. He does it well, but it would have been nice to have seen him act something other than his grumpy, sarcastic old-man routine. I know he couldn't pull off a role as an NBA basketball player, but still, there are plenty of options out there for guys in their 80s other than the same tired role we have seen him in.

I'd give it a 6.5/10.

That is my favorite Clint Eastwood movie quote....and that flick had a ton of them.
