This whole portal transfer-ness...IMO G5s will/have feel the hurt the most initially. But, after the rush, it will all equal out. There are only so many D1 players out there. Currently, we have the Obi's and Tyler's leaving, but that will eventually lead to incomers, like Kresser back in the day. MU will always grab the player big time programs overlooked, and after a year of good stats that player may leave. Big time programs will also over recruit, in which players will want to transfer for playing time.
It's just my opinion, but we will feel the hurt initially but will even out in the long run. Unit cohesiveness is a major concern though. We could have magic one year and chaos the next. The G5 world will be a gamble for sure.
