Is it possible for someone that is white to speak for white issues and not viewed at as a racist?? interesting conversation we are having at work. Also my co-workers was shocked by my views of Rev. Al "I snitched my way through the 80's" Sharpton

Sure it is. As a matter of fact, that's what this is all about. White guilt. Without that, there is no market for any of the talk we hear today. And if there was no money to be made off of it, nobody would give a shit about any of it.

To be honest, I don't even give a shit about everybody's issues. My issue is that everybody's issues have to be paraded in front of me while I attempt to watch a damn ball game. I choose to deal only with my own issues, and if I can't solve them, then I either contact Abby, or make a post here on Pullman.

I don't know the answer to your question. I guess it depends on the listening audience, but in today's world, anybody with a different viewpoint is deemed to be a racist.

Maybe we need Billy Graham to be the spokesperson for whitey.

It's to the point now that almost anything a white person does is considered racist bigoted homophobic by one group or another.

I think it's an elaborate plan to keep them down. They come across as entitled, helpless, and something to be pitied. You can't build anything but a third world country on that.

The ones I'm around are Great Americans who work. I'm talking about the ones on the news every evening.

Oh those black folks, im not around those types anymore in my life and even then I wouldn't say they are entitled unless their EBT and WIC didn't come through

You mean to tell me you aren't out making friends with them and showing them you care? Giving back? Hypocrite Uncle Tom.

Actually no, I am at this stage in my life where I only keep people in my life that pays taxes, votes, and contribute to society. I kind of have no use in my life for anyone who doesn't hold those 3 simple values. Its hard to have intelligent conversations or even be a wingman to someone who cant even claim something as their own or doesn't have something past a HS diploma to his or her credit. Even my weed man owns his home, owns his car, pays his taxes and votes

How about the ones on the news just standing on the sidewalks crying all the time?

"They took the flag down, yaaaaayyy WAAAAHHH."
"The cops keep killin' us. WAAAAAHHH."
"They keep arresting us when we commit crimes. WAAAHHHH."

It's on the news all the time. Crocodile tears.

Well having to deal with cops in my case is not easy. A couple months ago I spent the night in Jail over a suspended license that I didn't know was suspended. The cops wasn't trying to hear it. Even tried to put a possession charge on me even though they didn't find any weed.

But those people you see protesting are the same people that would be in the front of the Welfare line demanding their EBT. So they are of no use to me

LOL, didn't find any. Doesn't mean you don't have it. Hell, you just admitted to having a weed man.

"I'm breaking the law and they give me a hard time. WAAAAHHHHH."

Weed should be legalized, even the judge told me that. And that night I didn't have it according to the cops but like I said they didn't find any, doesn't mean I didn't have any in my car. Its not what you know, its what you can prove in court right??

What kind of job can you have as a pothead? One drug test and it's all over. This is very disappointing here.

And yet you were on here last week claiming that a world renowned black neurosurgeon was a disgrace to his race.

Depending on how much you smoke you won't even test positive after a couple days. I haven't smoked weed in a few years but when I did I just made sure it was before a vacation and took it pretty easy.

I don't act all high and mighty like my struggle is different then the next nor do I try to please whitey. I just associate with people that bring no value to my life. I have tattoos, smoke weed, listen to my system in my car really loud, and live life. Im sure Uncle Ben couldn't tell you a thing about black culture or what it is like to be in the hood

Actually he grew up poor and in the Detroit hood moron. See... this is why, knowing "history" is important. Acting high and mighty is something you clearly don't have to worry about.

So what makes you more black than him?

I can appreciate all this. The guy elevated himself out of a hell hole, but still has those thug roots like I have my redneck roots. We have to go to work and try to act like newscasters during the day, suppressing our much more exciting ways we left behind.

Let's face it, this Tom Brokaw act is kind of lame and boring. But it's required for a paycheck. After 5:00 though, it's out of place Hee Haw all the way. Well, except when I have to order my supper at McDonald's.
