Politicians corrupt??? Man you have to be kidding me. (Sarcasm is dripping with this statement)
And that is both Dems and Reps.

I know “they’ll just pass the info along” or whatever but for ****’s sake let’s just ban Congress (and VP/President I guess) from trading stocks themselves. It’s incredible how brazen they’ve gotten with this.

No argument here as I've posted many times before.
My biggest "beef" with this (in a nod to agriculture futures...) is the "watchdog" media is in bed with the politicians and doesn't responsibly report any of this.

They’re so brazen about it too. I’d think maybe some trust or a cousin was killing it in the market. Nope, just them and spouses right there to see.
They should be barred from trading individual stocks . Mutual funds of broad indexes fine.
There are plenty of ways they get rich as politicians (“speeches” and “book deals”), they should not be trading individual stocks or making futures plays.
