I am not hear to gloat or chest thump. But, the media and elites got this wrong. They didn't realize there was a movement going on and people are tired of the same old same old.

Trump shook things up and I think the country needed that. It sends a message to the Democrats and Republicans. Remember, he took down the Republican establishment. Many of them didn't want him to ever win.

Tim to move on now and move forward.

This is why you don't give up and quit when the "conventional wisdom" says you should.

Never blindly accept "a consensus".

Another piece of advice. "Buy the dip"

This is where I'm a little ashamed of myself. I let those bastards on TV, even on our own channel, fool me into believing there was no way.

I still voted for him, but they had me convinced I was wasting my time. Who knows, if I had a life I may have thought it wasn't worth going.

Even in 2016 America, this can happen. The TV has been exposed as a fraud. I'm proud as hell of this country today.

There were a lot of people out there that never said who they were voting for and it had the crooked and rigged media fooled. Trump didn't just win he beat her pretty handily.

I agree with the first statement but not the second.......

Trump is only the 5th President to be elected without winning the popular vote. Only the second since 1888.

The country is deeply divided......Hopefully we can come together on the issues that are truly important for America.

They kind of explained that last night. The solid dem states like Cali carry a lot more population.

Also it's not by that big of a margin that he lost to popular vote. Something like 118k. We still do not have Arizona, Michigan, Alaska, Minnesota, or New Hampshire counted in so the popular vote is not done just yet.

Trump is currently down 160,769 with 95.1% of the overall votes counted. he could still pull out the popular vote. i don't think he will, but it is possible.

and if you look at the country as a whole, it isn't as divided as you think. you have left coast and the north east against everybody else...

Almost all of the outstanding votes are out west, where Clinton is winning by double digits.

Either way, 59 Million Clinton vs 59 Million Trump......Clear divides between Gender, Age, and Race.....Not sure how more divided we could be.

And I am sure you think the divide is all due to the trump side

Absolutely not........It's been an ongoing evolution within both parties for quite sometime.

Actually, the Republican Party has stepped into the vacuum left by the Democrats when they deserted the Blue Collar Workers for Wall St.

Don't be so sure of that, I don't see all the Republican free traders abdanding that ship any time soon. Their palms are still greased.

I thought it was funny, Scarborough kept saying, "this is just like Reagan in 1980".

Tom Brokaw put him in his place.....FYI, Ronald Reagan was a very successful two term Governor of California and had run against Gerald Ford in 1976....This is brand new territory folks.
