I'd love to see some kids from the leftover CUSA schools try to transfer to Marshall as we exit to the Sun Belt. Lol

On a more serious note, I think the Sun Belt will get better football recruits than the AAC because even the high school kids are going to be able to figure out that the Sun Belt is the best conference outside of the Big 5.

Had not thought about any remaining players in CUSA entering the transfer portal in any sport and consider Sunbelt schools but hey it could happen. Marshall could get some good pick ups in football and men and womens basketball. Not sure about other sports and probably a big no for baseball.

Given the time table MU was given by Mayor Williams, MU may have a solid chance to get some baseball transfers. MU can sell they have the newest stadium in the new conference.

True for now, but in the future the SBC may have the best football teams overall of the g5 or maybe even g4 if CUSA folds.

Not to worry, bbneutralfan, regarding our baseball team. The latest pictures soon to come out from the Mayor of Huntington's Office as well as the appropriate entities in Marshall's administration of the "Any Day Now" new baseball facility in H-town will no doubt have college baseball players from Miami to LA flocking to the portal eager to put on the spikes and play for the HERD!!
