HUNTINGTON - Throughout his life, Marshall defensive back Cody Carter has had a set of parents - Shane and Kelly Carter - who have supported him through thick and thin, no matter what the situation.

Carter got the opportunity to give them a little something in return for their dedication and support as he pursued his dream of being a Division I football player.

Carter called his parents and let them know that he was being put on scholarship by Marshall football...
