HUNTINGTON - Over the last several months, Purdue wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Gerad Parker has been marking the days off of his calendar until Sept. 6.
Not only was it his team's season-opener against Marshall, but it was also a chance for Parker and his wife, Kandi, to return home to the Tri-State area.
Little did the Lawrence County (Ky.) standout know that the trip would end up taking on a much-bigger meaning this week...
