Can we all just admit that the only people that the majority of the country give a crap about them doing something is if they have a D or R by the name. If it’s a Democrat the republicans want him tarred and feathered. Same if it’s a Democrat with Republicans.

It kind of sucks that accusations of sexual misconduct has become a Democrat vs Republican thing. By the way don’t tell me that Trump ushered this in. Bill Clinton’s escapades was brushed aside by Democrats and jumped on by Republicans.

Bob Packwood Republican Senator during that time period was accused of a lot less than Clinton and Democrats lost their mind over him and he resigned.

They are all three completely different. One was running for office, not on trial, so all that mattered for him was public opinion.

Another was a sitting Senator who went through a trial that ended in a hung jury and the prosecutor wasn't sure if he was going to retry him.

Another was a sitting Senator who has announced he is resigning.
