Tyler King Dismissed...

Addition by subtraction. We have plenty of talent at the RB position. Like Tyler, King was more trouble than he's worth.

Yep. I would have to agree. Inside football source is telling me that there was NOTHING behind the scenes. After numerous chances and warnings, it truly was a BLATANT disregard for team rules and policies.

Doc had enough.

If it was what I'm being told, this kid just flat blew it. (no pun intended.)

In what way?

Kirby Smart at UGA is insanely private. Scott Frost at Nebraska doesn't allow any media/fans at their entire pre-season. Dana Holgersen didn't allow any media at their practices last year, and I expect it's the same at Houston. This stuff goes on everywhere.

I think what he was trying to say was that the opaqueness of the coaching staff leads to us not really understanding why decisions are made. He was responding to my quandary over why Trey Rodriguez was given so many opportunities, while Brenden Knox was held out until the last quarter of the season. My theory remains that Doc is gun-shy about freshmen because of the Tron Martinez fumble that occurred nine years ago this fortnight, even to his detriment.

Doc supporters shouldn't fear this or any criticism for that matter - he's the longest-tenured coach not named Cam Henderson in program history, and is all-but-immune from firing. (He could always have a pistol duel with Mike Hamrick over the love of a woman and lose.)

Tell me how UGA, Nebraska, and wvu are peers to Marshall and I might accept how we would be okay handling things the same way they do. Try to run your small business the way Walmart runs theirs and see how that works out for you.

I just hope the kid is alright. Hope he goes and plays somewhere
We have many backs so this won't hurt the team
Maybe a wakeup call for other. Coach S keep them out of bars
.Going to bars is not on the list of the college life experiences that shape a man. Go Herd. I was satisfied with the outcome of the Boise game.
