UAB’s Coach retiring

While it’s no longer conference news, Clark is retiring effective August 1. Hell of a coach.

There needs to be a statue of him on that campus. What he did there didn’t get the recognition it deserves, even on this board.

Finally heard from my friend in the UBA area and the coach is serious ill which is very SAD due to all the hard work he put in raising the football from the depths of being completely cancelled and a footnote in history.

I wish the best to the coach for a quick recover. May he come back from this illness ever stronger. May the Load bless him and make him well.
