Was reading an article on Yahoo News where the Head of the Office of the President for Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, discussed the former President of the EC’s comments calling out Ukraine’s rampant corruption.

"I am categorically dismissing the statement that Ukraine is very corrupt. These challenges happen all over the world, but could you please give me an example of one other country that, under conditions of this horrific war, would undertake the reforms on such a scale."

So either Ukraine was corrupt AF & their entire future banks on cleaning up a problem so bad other Europeans see them as too corrupt to credibly join NATO, or the corruption they’re literally known for isn’t real & numerous countries like the US & other allies are making shit up to make it harder on them in a time of war.
