It is freighting to see how some people think today. I just paid my auto insurance, and even though I have had no accidents, the rate has jumped up significantly again. I hate the company, but I have the choice of changing insurers or even dropping to a less comprehensive plan. It would never enter my mind to find out who the CEO was and shoot him/her. What would that solve?

Insurance companies are cheapskates. Every dollar they don’t pay on a claim is more profit. They are your best friend when signing up and you are paying your premium, but when it is their turn to pay they will fight over every penny.

The only part I disagree with. And understand that I am viewing this through the lense of history, in which it's not wild at all for someone who is or is seen as an oppressor to get whacked.
And of course, in recent history we had the Unabomber, who is very adjacent to this assassination (this dude admired his manifesto, but then again so do a shitload of people).
So it seems kinda....normal to me, in the human condition.
