Another professor didn't cancel an exam and gets run out of town. The coddled nature of college kids and academia in general is not healthy. We are screwed.

Marine, I heard a report that the military has told the local military people to be careful about wearing their uniforms on near campus as there have been death threats to military and police.
Doesn't surprise me, it's tragic if that's the case. There may be a bit of truth in some of these issues there. But nothing that should cause death threats against innocent people and specifically the military. Mob mentality in its purest form.

No the injustice is the President just standing by and doing nothing to stop whatever racist crap that is going on. Turning a blind eye or showing no remorse is worst than some ignorant racist yelling racial slurs or smearing a swastika with crap all over campus.
At the end of the day, its the University Presidents job to make sure ALL students feel welcomed on his or her college campus.

Him resigning just puts a Band-Aid on things. What the movement wants is systematic changes across the nation, racism is still alive and well in America probably more so now than since the Civil Rights Bill was signed.
