A Utah school district has now received a complaint concerning the Book of Mormon — which comes a day after it banned the Bible in some schools.
Hey but the cons want to tell you what you can read, what you can teach, what is, and isn't, a religion, that being greedy is good, they want you to believe lies one after another, and that when dealing with the poor go ahead and throw the baby out with the bathwater. And they do that while claiming piety when they don't know Jesus from apple butter.

How so? Because I think taxes should be lower? Or wasteful spending? Why do you think the govt is going to suddenly fix world hunger or USA hunger?

I still have my copy of The Book of Mormon that I received when their missionaries used to come and visit the Marshall dorms. All the other students would run when they came; I found them fascinating. Like first contact with aliens.

Poverty will NEVER be eliminated. That's no excuse for not trying, and that fact can't be used to defend your idolatry of the rich.
The poor have never been given more than they receive currently. We’ve also been told a majority of the poor are off welfare in under a year. So how would raising taxes change that?
so you think the govt would take the tax dollars from producers and stop poverty? get real. why would entrust the govt to accomplish this? What would they do with those tax dollars? How would it help the poor?
